Vancouver Island fishing charters for Salmon and Halibut in
Ucluelet, and Tofino, British Columbia
2008 was another excellent BC Salmon fishing season here on the west shore of Vancouver Island, BC. Our largest Salmon was a beautiful 45.5 lb Chinook skillfully landed by the McCarthur party early in September. 
Although Halibut fishing was as great, there were no "barn doors" to report but limits of 15 to 25 lbs were landed daily.
One fantastic afternoon Paul Butcher and his two sons reeled in 6 Chinook Salmon - The largest being a 43lb chrome beauty.
Vancouver Island fishing outlook for 2009 is excellent for both Salmon and Halibut... Especially in the Ucluelet and Tofino area.
